I read a ton of blogs everyday and always think I could do that! I love to read about what other people eat, what they wear, and in general a peak into others lives. Sometimes it make's me feel like I'm not doing enough with my life. I am a stay at home mom to a 3 year old girl who is inheriting my love of fashion. The funny part about that love of fashion is that I live in Lululmon these days! Now I do yoga however I wear them whether I am working out or not. I am in a bit of a slump. First the weather has sucked so no inspiration there.
I also have a some issues with spending. My husband makes good money and I am spending way too much. We have way too much stuff!! I look at it all and I am appalled at myself. I feel so guilty yet continue to feel like we need all this stuff. So if anyone is reading this I will post some outfits as well as clothing I would like to sell.
My daughter is my world! She was conceived through IVF and is a miracle! I have been through the process about 10 times and I am about to embark on round 11. It is so physically and emotionally draining but all worth it in the end.
Did I mention that I hit the big 40 last year! It was a turning point for me. A certain calmness that I can't explain. Less anxiety about life in general and yet I still spend and spend. happiness is not on the other side of the Jcrew counter. I am not kidding when I say that I have felt sad standing in line at Jcrew or Anthropologie waiting to pay for something knowing I don't need it but feel like I have to have it. The remorse I feel when I clean out my closet and give clothes to family and charity. Thousands of dollars worth. My goal is to get a handle on this. To not waste any more time on buying and then returning. It really is an energy waster. Buying that dress that will be perfect for that non-exsistent event that never comes. And when an event does come I buy a new dress for that because the other one is old.
There will b lots to come on this space. Product reviews as I love hair and make-up. Clothing sales and recipes as I love to cook.
Hello and welcome if you are still reading,
be back soon!
